The Seniors Friendship Club regularly meets at the B'nai B'rith
Kadimah Gardens at Wahroonga.
Members invited Magen David Adom to give a presentation regarding
its life-saving work in Israel and around the world.

Eli Tal became only the second person in MDA NSW's history
to be granted Life Membership when this honour was bestowed
on him at our Annual General Meeting held in April 2010.

Thank you to B'nai B'rith Sydney Masada Unit and to Eva and Jim Grunstein whose donations have made
possible two First-Responder motor-scooters which are now based at the Jerusalem MDA station.
In the period December'08-April'09, these First-Responder motor-scooters played a vital role in the
speedy arrival at emergencies, attending 114 emergency medical calls.

During Operation "Cast Lead", MDA needed to transport tons of logistical and medical equipment across the
length of the country.
To help achieve this, a new Isuzu truck, made possible by funds from MDA New South Wales,
has been put into service specifically for this purpose.
