"MDA RU RED-DY?" BENEFIT CONCERT

MDA School Coordinator, Rani Olstein, together with Bialik College's shaliach, Sigal,
put on a special benefit concert for MDA with over 100 students and parents in
attendance.
"The White Rabbits", a group consisting of past Bialik Collegians, together with
current Bialik students, performed jazz, rock and contemporary music to raise funds
for Magen David Adom.

A QUILT FOR YOKNEAM
In September 2006, during our "Magen David Adom Week" at Bialik college, Year 9 and
Year 10 students of our MDA Committee, organised activities for our primary students.
Each year level had a different activity. Year 4 students, after have learnt about
Magen David Adom, obtained white square material and, in pairs, decorated the squares.
They also wrote personal messages such as "get well soon", "we love Israel" and "from
Bialik college" both in Hebrew and English.
The quilt is now in the final stage of creation amd will hang prominently in the new
"Aussie-funded" MDA Station in the northen Israeli town of Yokneam.
