Glynis Lipson, Co-President
Glynis has been involved with Magen David Adom since 2000 when, through a very close friend,
she was introduced to the organisation.
Her first experience with MDA Victoria was phoning for the Annual Appeal.
The then Co-President, David Bendel, suggested that she come to a Committee meeting - which
was the beginning of a close working relationship with David for the next nine years - a true
learning experience for Glynis.
MDA's sole purpose - the saving of human lives, regardless of race, religion or
creed - is what drew her to become involved.
Glynis has seen, firsthand in Israel, how MDA workers and volunteers risk their own lives
to save others - with devotion, love and passion.
Representing MDA Australia, Glynis has attended the International MDA Conference together with representatives
of nineteen other countries - all supporting the work of MDA in Israel.
This has inspired her in raising funds for and lifting the profile of Magen David Adom within her
own community.

Bernice Stub, Co-President
Bernice has been involved with volunteering and fundraising in the community
for over thirty years.
From 1986 until 1989, Bernice served as President of Wizo Galil and, again, as
Co-President 1992 till 1994.
From the time that her children started at the school, she was involved with the
Parents Association of Mount Scopus College. In 1996, she served as President of
the school's Debutante Ball Committee.
Bernice has been actively involved with Magen David Adom since 2006 due to her
passionate belief that this organisation is one that really does save lives.
