icyk & lola reiser leave a lifesaving legacy

The people of Israel gained from the generosity of the late Icyk and Lola Reiser
whose legacy enabled the purchase of a new ambulance in their name.
MDA Victoria's Co-President, Glynis Lipson, and Vice-President, Eva Scharf, were
on hand to welcome "Lachish 44" into Magen David Adom's fleet of emergency vehicles.

Long-time supporter of Magen David Adom, Lily Richman now lives in Tel Aviv, having made
Aliyah several years ago. During the last International Magen David Adom Conference in Tel Aviv
in October 2010, she was, by chance, re-united with MDA Victoria's Co-President, Glynis Lipson.
There is already a plaque in MDA Australia-sponsored Yokneam Medical Emergency Station, and now
a Command Vehicle joins the Magen David Adom fleet thanks to the generosity of Lily Richman.
On behalf of the people of Israel to Lily, we say "THANK YOU - YET AGAIN"!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND THANK YOU!
Ruth Zimmerman recently celebrated her 80th Birthday and asked her family and friend
for donations to Magen David Adom and Save a Dog Scheme in lieu of gifts.

victorian micu saves lives in yokneam - every day!
|
This is Mobile Intensive Care Unit, "CARMEL 19",
based at MDA Australia-sponsored MDA Emergency Station in Yokneam.
In the three years since it was donated by Dr Abe and Mrs Vera Dorevitch and family of Melbourne,
"Carmel 19" has responded to over 3,400 emergency calls, including:
2,324 adult medical emergencies, 425 car accidents, 138 child medical emergencies,
39 victims of violence, 27 women in labour, 23 fire-related emergencies, 18 work-related
accidents, 5 hazardous material incidents and 404 other injuries.
