Currently, the station in Lehavim consists of just one ambulance operated by a single volunteer, severely limiting its ability to meet the growing demands of the community.

The current station lacks proper facilities for medical staff, has no shelter for ambulances, and is exposed to both extreme weather and security threats. Without proper infrastructure, the people of Lehavim are left vulnerable in times of crisis.

The new MDA station will provide the medical infrastructure needed to save lives and ensure community resilience. This state-of-the-art facility will include:

  • 24/7 Emergency Medical Care: Ensuring prompt care at all times, day or night.
  • Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU): Advanced life support for critical care in the field.
  • Bomb Shelter: Secure protection for MDA teams during times of conflict, ensuring they can continue their work safely.
  • Training Rooms: Two rooms dedicated to training future medical professionals and volunteers.
  • Girls-Only Room: Creating space for female volunteers, ensuring inclusivity and comfort.
  • Sheltered Ambulance Parking & Generator Room: Protecting essential equipment from the elements and ensuring power during outages.
  • Job Creation: Offering new employment opportunities within the community and contributing to the local economy.
  • Youth Volunteer Engagement: Encouraging local teenagers to join MDA as volunteers, giving them a chance to make a real impact as young as 15 years old.

This station will not only provide critical emergency response services but also help strengthen the community by empowering its youth and creating a sense of shared responsibility.
